Caitlin Crawford Dallas Cowboys Internship Experience

By Arline Bradley

The Dallas Cowboys are an American football team playing in the eastern division. They are members of the National Football League commonly known as NFL. The Cowboys are based in Texas at the Valley Ranch. They offer few opportunities for individuals to join them on internship basis. This is how Caitlin Crawford Dallas internship happened.

The genesis of the team can be traced back to 1960, when it served as an expansion outfit. It sort to fill a gap that existed because of the limited number of clubs from the Southern division. The club has grown over the years, raking in millions of dollars. It has participated in Super Bowl championship games with an incredible track record of success.

Forbes magazine ranked the Cowboys at position two among the richest NFL clubs. This ranking is for those participating in the American League. The list of wealthy clubs is topped by the New York Yankees. They have an estimated accumulated wealth of two billion dollars which ranks them fifth among other sporting outfits in the world. Their seasonal collection from the game, endorsements and other sources of revenue is 200 million dollars.

Cowboys have a distinct uniform that makes them standout. In the sporting circles, it is referred to as Stars and Stripes Jersey. The wording is done in white over navy road and pinstripes. There are white and grey strips on the arms and a characteristic V shaped collar. The pants are made of metallic silver which is a dominant color for both home and away games. An off-the-shoulder fitting identifies the cheer leaders.

Catlin Crawford got the opportunity to work as an intern with the team while she was a student. This was rare because the team is not known to entertain interns. Her place of birth is quoted as Dallas, Texas and she is a graduate of broadcasting and electronic media from University of Oklahoma. Her most catchy phrase was the claim was her desire to work with the radio because she was a huge fan.

The broadcasting division of the team is run under KRLD-FMA. The radio began broadcasting in 2010 and has remained committed to the team and the sport in general. Babe Laufenberg is the voice behind this radio and has his background in football playing as a quarter back for the Cowboys. The other prominent broadcaster is Sham Brad. The two dominate the airwaves ensuring that every game is broadcast on a minute to minute basis. The partnership with Compass Media Network allowed the local radio to read the entire nation. The partnership was initiated in 2011 to form the Team Radio Network.

The team stands out in a white home jersey that is accentuated with royal blue socks. A unique number identifies each player and is placed at the back of their jerseys. Their signature colors are blue and metallic silver.

The internship opportunities offered by such institutions allow graduates to gain practical knowledge about work environment after leaving school. Just like Crawford, ceasing the opportunity allows a person to experience real work environment and apply the things learned in school. A lot of enthusiasm is required of individuals invited for interviews after sending their application letters.
